I need to check a book out that is on Reserve. How long can I keep it?
Answer
Reserve items will have one of four check-out periods:
- 2-hour in-house,
- 1 day,
- 3 days
- or 7 days.
These check-out periods are set by the faculty member who places the item on reserve for their class, and they can only be changed by that faculty member. Note that there are no renewals on reserve items; they must be brought back when they are due, and can only be checked out again if other students in the class are not currently waiting to use them.
