What can I check out from the library?

You can check out:
- materials within the Loan Shelves
- most materials from the Instructional Resource Center
- most Government Documents
- anything from the Youth shelves, and
- any of the Videos displayed by the Research and Access Desk.
Materials placed on our Reserve Shelves by a faculty member have a limited check-out period and the majority of them cannot leave the building.
Reference materials, Periodicals (magazines and journals), and special collections/archive materials are the only items that cannot be checked out, except by certain people, see our "Journal or Magazine FAQ" for more details.
