How to find the proxied link for Films on Demand videos in Primo

If an off-campus patron is having trouble getting to a specific Films on Demand video, you can use Primo to find the proxied link.

1. Once you find the record for the specific video in Primo, scroll down to the Links section.

2. Click on Display Source Record. It will open in a new tab

3. Once the source record opens, scroll down to the 856 row, which is toward the end of what looks like a bunch of glop. This is where URLS live in bib records. Depending on your screen, you might not see the entire row label. Another option is to do a Ctrl + F and search for Part of the Films on Demand collection. That text is in every Films on Demand record.

4. The proxied link is just after $u in that row. You can copy the link and then paste it into Chat or an email. Be sure to delete the $u if you accidentally copy it.
